About Laura
I graduated in 2008 with a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Colorado- Boulder. I have worked with all ages in the school setting, inpatient/hospital setting, and private practice.
I treat all Speech-Language disorders including: expressive and receptive language disorders, phonological disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia, including children who are low-verbal or non-verbal and may use a communication device (AAC) to communicate. I have extensive knowledge of School Special Education Policies and Procedures including knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Although I treat all Speech-Language Disorders, I am especially passionate about working with children who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I believe that all Children can communicate and deserve to be given a chance to do so.
I live in Arvada with my husband, two children, and golden retriever. I enjoy mountain biking, trail running and spending time with my family.
